Proviron (Provigen), also known as Mesterolone is a popular and unique oral steroid like no other. It is commonly used during the cutting phase of a steroid cycle as it shares qualities with Masteron, Anavar, and Winstrol. It is an oral dihydrotestosterone (DHT) derivative that is not C 17-alpha alkylated which makes it not liver toxic. Chemically it has been altered to have a methyl group added to the carbon one position. This allows the compound to survive hepatic breakdown once ingested, but decreases its total bioavailability compared to other C17-aa oral steroids.
